Oracle Mocktail Recipe

Updated: Jun 18, 2020

Disconnection allows for darkness to seep through the cracks. Our bodies can beg for reconnection but we may not be in tune enough to listen. To tap into that tuition, we need to clear out our systems and let the wisdom and knowing flow through us like water. Here is a mocktail that will tap into the inner oracle to allow for physical and emotional healing. This drink is Inspired by a traditional vodka cocktail and my dreams of being able to drink slivers of the silver moon. Of course, it is also inspired by the powerful herbs that are found within the Water bitters. I kept the ingredients simple so that the benefits of tasting bitters can still work their magic.

The following recipe is for a four ounce glass.

1 oz. of Water syrup

3 oz. of Grapefruit La Croix

3 dropperfuls of Water bitters

Combine the syrup and La Croix in a vessel. I used a cocktail mixer but that’s not entirely necessary to have. Throw in an ice cube and either shake gingerly or give the liquid a stir. Pour the mocktail into a four ounce glass while straining out the ice. Top with 3 dropperfuls of Water bitters and garnish with either a Sage leaf or a piece of crystallized Ginger candy. Enjoy the throat and third eye opening and just listen to yourself!

Below is how to make the Water syrup (makes roughly 18 ounces).

Combine the following in a saucepan and bring up to a boil:

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 1/2 cup water

When the granulated sugar is dissolved, and the liquid has just begun to boil, turn off the heat and throw in:

3 Spearmint tea bags

1 oz. fresh Garden Sage

Put a lid on the syrup and let infuse for two hours. Afterwards, strain all of the ingredients and compost them. Whisk in 1 tsp. Charcoal. Let the syrup chill and use when cold.

It’s that easy!
